Masters Project "The Bookkeeper"

For my Masters project I created a short narrative animation based on some of the characters and environment that had been created for the group project game Clockwork. My aim was to create convincing performances in both of the characters and to use facial animation to help portray Solanna's changes in emotion and reactions to the antics of the clockwork creature.

The project was completed in eighteen weeks.

Software used: Autodesk Softimage, Adobe Photoshop, The Foundry Nuke and Adobe Premiere.

Group Project "Clockwork"

In the second term I worked in a group on a project to create a game modification using the Half Life 2 Engine. The group consisted of 5 other people, 2 from my course and 3 from the Masters in Computer Animation and Visual Effects. We had seven weeks to complete the project. The aim was to create the first level of the game. This had to introduce the player to the game controls, the characters and the story. Each member of the team had specific job roles, mine was to rig and animate all three characters.

Software used: Autodesk Softimage.

The story: Solanna was the main character in the game. She was a young girl who lived in the clockwork world with a creature called Helix who acts as her guardian. Scorpius was the villain Solanna had to fight in order to save the clockwork world.

The rest of Team Clockworks are as follows:
